It's hard to describe, so I've uploaded an example. stars-4-0.gif in a picture of 5 stars taken from the Amazon.com website. bad_stars.gif is a screen shot of how it looks in Mozilla. I forgot to mention, this problem didn't occur with Mozilla 1.6. It only happens with the 1.7 beta.

WFM - my current mozilla and firefox display the image properly.
I think this might be a dupe of 195022, because I see the problems in those GIFs as well.
