An option could be added to force a Basic Authentication logout for the current
page site. 
I think a good place to put such an option is the "Security" tab in the PageInfo
dialog. It could show the currently logged-in user name, and a button to force a
logout.
I guess this feature is not very difficult to implement, and it would be very,
very useful for development environments.
