But to do that, I have to switch back each time I opened a new tab to the main page (after finding it first between the other 11 just opened "tabs". It would be nice if there would be a setting in Preferences called "Keep focus on main page when opening a new tab". That way i could first quickly open all the pages I want to read in one go. Without going back eacht time to the main page (index). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
That option already exists for years. Edit->preferences->Tabbed browsing->Load links in the background
