238784 - cannot save multi part files in mozilla but can do in netscape 4.77

In netscape 4.77 you highlight several messages and then save them to a file.
This applies to email and news. In this version of mozilla you do not the option
for this at all. Curiously you can print more than one message at a time.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Highlight several messages.
2.Go to the file tab and look for save as
3.Its not there as it was in netcape 4.77

Actual Results:  
unable to save multiple messages into a file. common use would be saving multi
part attachments.


Expected Results:  
it should have had the menu option to DO this as the older software did.


I use this feature in this capacity to save automated email messages into a file
then creat a report from it. until i can save multiple messages into 1 file i am
stuck with netscape, OR GOD FORBID USE OUTLOOK!

I put this in as an enhancement to get back an old feature.

I am sorry how was this bug resolved again? I read thru the comments on the bug
you said this duplicated (bug 102960), there does seem to be any comments with a
resolution nor a workaround.

Bug 102960 also references bug 60981,58140,

It is terrific that that this bug is being "nominating for fixing" -- it's only
been since October 26, 2000 when it was first reported!

it seems that you didn't understand the way bugzilla works:
the problem reported in this bug it's the same that the one addressed in bug
102960. This doesn't have any relationship about if that bug is fixed or not,
there's no reason to have several reports open in bugzilla about the same
problem as it can only be fixed once.

And as a side note: although it wouldn't have changed anything about this bug,
please upgrade your version of Mozilla before reporting any bug. Mozilla 1.5
it's way old and lots of bugs are fixed in each version.
