Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040113 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040113 Problem appeared since new ADSL modem and different firmware being used (Alcatel Speedtouch 300), browser worked well with previous modem + firmware (Pulsar PCI ADSL). Thunderbird 0.5 hangs as well. Mozilla 1.7 still works fine and so does KMail. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Connect 2.Launch Firefox 3.Click in location bar and type Actual Results: Browser just froze a long time. Have to kill it usually. Expected Results: Moved the cursor or typed letter or backspaced whichever. Not theme related, although switching the theme suddenly helped (from any to modern, not all tested), I could type. Then, upon relaunching, the problem was still there, with modern theme or any other. My PC's configuration is Pentium 4 1.9 GHz (Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo 600) 512 Mb Ram running Suse Linux 8.2.
Reporter: does this happen with a new profile and newer build?
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040727 Firefox/0.9.1+ Nothing of this sort has ever happened to me, regardless of modem or router firmware. Seems like this has only happened to the reporter.
I don't see this. No reply from reporter for months. Resolving WORKSFORME.
