Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Konqueror/3.2; Linux) (KHTML, like Gecko) Build Identifier: Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Take two seperate Thunderbird instances (on seperate machines, even) which I'll called TB1 and TB2. Each has the "When I delete a message: 'Remove it immediately'" option set in Tools -> Account Settings -> Server Settings. 2. Open each with the same IMAP folder containing some messages. 3. Delete a message from TB1 (DEL key or 'Delete' button on toolbar). The message disappears from view, and the "\Deleted" flag is marked on the IMAP server. 4. Note that the message on the server is merely 'marked as deleted' and not physically deleted from the server filesystem. 5. Go to look at the 'deleted' mail in TB2. It loads and opens fine, with no clue that it's actually 'deleted'. Even pressing 'Get Mail' does not help, nor does the time-honoured 'folder refresh' method of looking at a different folder, then looking back to the original one. In fact, the only thing that causes the mail to be removed from TB2's message list, is File -> Compact Folders. Surely there must be a better way than this? Cheers, Gavin. Actual Results: Messages not removed from view on other installations. Expected Results: Removed the messsage from view on the other installation ;)
This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts.
