Edit|Preferences The preferences window should be modal i.e. you should not be able to use another window without first dismissing it. moreover the pref to toggle this behavior does not work, that pref is: user_pref("browser.prefs_window.modeless", false); This bug is XP and was reproduced with 2000011313 builds

yup there was a crasher on Mac for modal dialogs, so I made it modeless until that was fixed. Checking to see if that bug is fixed, and then I'll set this up again...
