User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040329 Firefox/0.8.0+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040329 Firefox/0.8.0+ Going to www.smartmoney.com quickly crashes the browser after the top 10-20% of the page has rendered. Nothing shows up in the console when it exits. I haven't had trouble with the site before but it's been a few weeks since I last visited. Linux Firefox 0.8 (not gtk2) loads the site fine as does 0.8 on MacOS X Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to http://www.smartmoney.com with 20040329 linux gtk2 build 2. 3. Actual Results: Browser crashes after the top 10-20% of the page has rendered Expected Results: load the page

Got a crash here with the same build: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040329 Firefox/0.8.0+ Talkback ID is: TB9560M Captured at 03/31/04 11:22 PM
Seems to be a linux only bug. WFM with WinXP-Sp1 and a 4 hours old CVS homemade based build : Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040401 Firefox/0.8.0+ (MozJF) I am using Java Plug-in 1.4.2_04, in case it matters ?!
Verified by Jesse Nesbitt(jessepop@phreaker.net). When running through terminal, it returned this after crash: (Gecko:25727): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: file gsignal.c: line 2491 (g_signal_emit_valist): assertion `signal_id > 0' failed Reproduced on hard refresh.
My 20040405 nightly gtk2 build can load up the smartmoney.com homepage now without crashing. Clicking on various articles within the site seem to work fine as well.
(linux firefox gtk2 cvs) 20040328 crashes on shift-reload 20040331 does not. Also, the warnings (Gecko:1655): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: gsignal.c:1085: unable to lookup signal "deactivate" of unloaded type `MaiAtkObject' (Gecko:1655): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: file gsignal.c: line 2491 (g_signal_emit_valist): assertion `signal_id > 0' failed on loading the page are gone. -> wfm
