I run Lotus note 6.0.2CF1 and it comes with Sametime commercial IM program. If
someone sends me a URL on an IM message, when I click on it nothing happens.
Will not open browser windows, nor if brower is open will it go to url I have
Mozilla set as preferred browser in NOTES (edit current location) setup.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Sametime IM window to ur buddy
2. Have him send u a url link
3. One left click on the link
4. Nothing happens. 

Actual Results:  
Nothing - works ok on IE 6.0.... 

Expected Results:  
Would open a browser windows and go to URL

This is a deficiency of the sametime client.  The method they use to open URLs
from the chat window ONLY works with IE. (BTW it does not work with Windows/XP
SP2 either, unless you disable one of the major SP2 IE security enhancements).

This is not a Mozilla issue.
