Description

I experienced that many errors came along with the installation of the current
mozilla build (13) on Win2000, during the installation, at startup
(initialization), the mail component caused immediate crashes, several uncaught
exceptions, unlocated procedure entry points and so on...

I posted this bug, because I could not find anything similar querying the bug
database and I wanted to check if problems with NT 5.0 are known.

Hmm, could this be more fun with shifting APIs and DLLs?

alangho@itbnet.de, could you please clarify exactly when the errors occured:
were they during the installation process, or after that, as soon as you
started to use Mozilla? If the errors occured *during* installation,
the proper component is "Installer".

Also, please provide the Build ID, located at the right-hand end of the status
bar at thebottom of the window (it will look something like this:
Build ID: 2000011211 and encodes the date and hour the version you were using
was built).

Thanks!

I created a bug report for the installer component, then I downloaded the zipped
nightly build (ID: 2000011415) and everything works... perhaps the other errors
i got had something to do with the installer problem.
I´ll now use the .zip file.
