In the 2004-04-04 build of Thunderbird, pressing Ctrl+A when either the message
list or preview pane is selected produces the wrong behavior. It should select
either all of the messages or the entirety of the message being previewed,
depending on the context, but what actually happens is that the focus moves to
the "Subject or Sender Contains" box at the top of the window!

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select either the preview pane or the message listing pane.
2. Press Ctrl+A.

Actual Results:  
The "Subject or Sender Contains" text box is highlighted.

Expected Results:  
Either all the messages are selected or all the text in the preview pane is
selected, depending on where the focus was.
