It's used by bugzilla 2.16 (as installed on bugzilla.gnome.org) in the Edit attachment as comment page. If you're trying to click on the button [Edit attachment as commment], a message will be printed on the javascript console that says: Error: XMLSerializer is not defined Source File: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/attachment.cgi?id=XXXX&action=edit Line: 121 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:

It's not reproducable with mozilla.org's build. Sorry for wasting anyones time.
