User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040113 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040113 When the linked file is printed or viewed in print-preview, page 2+ are shown with a black page background while page 1 is with a white background. Modifying the page's BODY tag to include bgcolor="xxxxxx" fixes the problem. The same error occurs in Firebird 0.8; and affects both print and print-preview. highly likely to be related to bug #208538 It seems that since the body bgcolor is undefined, the table bgcolour is inherited (probably not the right word) to the body Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open webpage URL 2. enable "print background colour / image" in page setup 3. print or print preview Actual Results: Page 2+ shows with a black page-background Expected Results: Page 2+ should print with white background just like Page 1
Please note that this file is encoded Shift_JIS (Japanese)
Just tried and removed all bgcolor=000000 in the five TABLE tags in test case. The resultant page prints with light gray colour as inherited from one of the TD tags, apparently. Please give it a try.

I see this on LInux 2004050707

I think this is a dupe of bug 235672 (that one used CSS for backgrounds, but gives the same results). The problem goes away if the body or html element have their background-color set to something (the default value of "inherit" seems to trigger the bug). So if you want to work around the bug in current mozilla releases, just set the background colour for the document.
