User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040316
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040316

Installation of 1.b over 1.7a resulted in me losing all my mail, bookmarks and
settings. I hadn't expected this type of behaviour from Mozilla. I wasnt even
given a warning. The data is completely lost: I cant find any trace of it on my
system.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install 1.7a
2. Make some bookmarks, settings and mail accounts.
3. Install 1.7b. All of the above will be lost.

Actual Results:
Installation seems unaware of existing installation.

Expected Results:
It should have detected an existing installation and warned me of the results at
least. Ideally it should have saved all of my settings (exported them), and upon
installation prompted me to reload them (optionally).
You can't find it under c:\documents and settings..\ ?
(note: one directory is marked "hidden" and you must enable "show hidden files"
in the Explorer)
If you set the Mozilla install directory as the custom location for the Mozilla
Profile, then this is expected behavior when you OK'd the deletion of the the
contents of that folder in the Install wizard.
