It would be nice to have a translate tool for email messages. Something similar to Tools->Translate Page from the browser. I'm not sure this is the right component, could somebody confirm that?
We can leave it here for the moment, but I think eventually, it would go to Tbird's MailWindow component. I see a big issue here. A very big one. Privacy. The way the feature works in mozilla is it sends the URL of the page to a publically available service (I believe google). Now we could also feed content itself I believe... BUT I'd be very cautious, because some may consider this a huge privacy deal, even though they would select the feature from a menu. At the very least it would need to warn at the first attempt: "To translate, [AppName] will need to send the text of this message to [serviceName]". Do you wish to do so? ( Yes ) (( No )) [] Do not prompt again
