From whatI understand Netscape is no somewhat defunct and Mozilla (which I have
used since at least version 0.98) is meant in someway to replace it. I have a
netscape webmail account, which Netscape 7.1 will access, but Mozilla will not
(saying it is unable to find the sever). I noticed 1.7 will have support for MSN
mail, but why shoudln't Netscape mail be supported? Or is there a work arounf I
have been ubable to find. I would really like to go back to using Mozilla full
time, but I am using Netscape becasue it can get my mail. I am using Mac OS X
10.3.3 on an 800 mhz G4 (Graphite upgraded from 400 mhz). I cannot recall if I
ever tried this on the Windows version, but I use Windows very rarely.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Netscape webmail account is setup and works from Netscape 7.1 mail
2.Close Netscape open Mozilla 1.6.
3.Try to access Netscape webmail from mail menu, Mozilla cannot connect (or
find) server.

Actual Results:  
It has been awhile since I tried (when 1.6 was first released). Couldn't access
in 1.5 either.

Expected Results:  
Accessed mail the same as Netscape 7.1

That is a netscape exclusive feature, and only supported by netscape (Proprietary).
