I'm using Mozilla nightly 2004040808 on Windows XP Pro and I noticed some strange behaviour in ChatZilla. I have set my user name to Tsiolkovsky. But when I check with whois I see that username is only Tsiolkovs@... So only the first 9 characters of username are there instead of full length username.
Length of a nickmane is server dependant. Most servers don't allow them longer than 9 characters. Some do. Dalnet allow 32 characters, for instance.
