I have a large mail filter created where almost everyone {person}@email.host.com is filtered into a folder named {person}. It would be a nice feature for me to be able to define a single rule that says: If Sender matches this pattern: (.*)@email.host.com, move the mail to folder: Archives/$1, creating Archives/$1 if it doesn't already exist. If creating Archives/$1 is undesirable, just ignore that person and continue. This would eliminate 90% of my rules and make managing them much easier.
This would probably be a good job for a javascript filter. Too bad they don't seem to be supported any more (bug #11037).
