Details
I registered getfirefox.com, and I'd like it to redirect to
http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/
I have just configured getfirefox.com to use the mozilla name servers at NSI, so
it should be all ready once the mozilla apache configuration changes are made.

Actually how about we make that
http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/get/
so I can track how much traffic comes from this domain ;-)

Are you putting up that domain somewhere and redirecting it here, or is the
domain actually pointing here and you want it redirected into that page on the
main website?
If it's the latter, then do you want it to actually redirect, or just show the
same content?
As a comparison, http://www.bugzilla.org/ is mostly displaying the same content
as http://www.mozilla.org/projects/bugzilla/ .

Ben pointed DNS for the domain to mozilla.org's domain name servers. I think he
wants all hits on that domain to redirect to that one page on the mozilla.org
web site. In other words, getfirefox.com/<anything> is just a shorthand for
mozilla.org/products/firefox/get/, and users end up on the mozilla.org site in
the end.

Ah, so the domain needs to be set up in mozilla.org's DNS then as well...

OK, looks like the ns has changed over.

So how do we set this up in DNS?

Why don't I just log getfirefox.com requests to a separate log file to which you
have access?

Ok, I've set up getfirefox.com and www.getfirefox.com. Both forward requests to
www.mozilla.org/products/firefox and log them in
rheet:/var/log/httpd/getfirefox.com/.
