User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040331 Firefox/0.8.0+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040331 Firefox/0.8.0+ Help->About Mozilla Firefox has two problems: 1. The exact build ID is not shown, just "Firefox 0.8+". There does not appear to be any way to find out the exact build ID being used. 2. The last displayed line of text is partially cut off. It is unclear whether there are additional (completely invisible) lines which are cut off [maybe they show the build ID???] I will attach a screen-shot showing the cut-off-text problem. My setup: SuSE 9.0 + kernel 2.6.3 XFree86 Version 4.3.0.1 KDE (3.1, I think) with default KDE window manager Firefix is using the "Firefox(default)" theme. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start firefox 2. Help->About Actual Results: See screen shot Expected Results: All text should be displayed, without cut-off characters. The exact build-ID should be included. IMO "0.8+" isn't very useful.

The exact biuld is the set of numbers 20040331 which is the date listed in ISO-8601 format. The format is four digit year - two digit month - two digit day. More info can be found http://www.w3.org/QA/Tips/iso-date
