User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040327 Firefox/0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040327 Firefox/0.8 A lot of web pages open a link in a new window. This can be remedied by using the 'middle mouse button to open in a new tab' option, but when you want to replace the current tab with the link (as normal links do), you will get a new window, which is not what I want. Therefore I would like an option to force opening this link in the same tab, instead of opening a new window for it. It's ok if javascript popups still popup, if allowed by the other options. In other words, this feature shouldn't affect javascript popups. The justification for including this feature would be that opening in a new window isn't necessary if you use tabs. If this isn't enough justification, I would like an option to open in a new tab if the link says to open in a new window. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to a website where a link opens a new window instead of in the current window 2. Click the abovementioned link (left mouse button) 3. Get annoyed by the fact that it is opened in a new window, instead of in the same tab Actual Results: A new window was created and the link was opened therein. Expected Results: The link should have opened in the active tab, or if that's not feasible, open in a new tab (of course only if the corresponding option is turned on). I think this is the only feature I'm missing in a lot of browsers :-)
