Build 2000011212M13: Linux 6.0

Overview: In the 3-pane window the Edit menu has the "E" underlined. Type Alt+E
and nothing happens.

Expected Results: I would expect the Edit menu to appear. Typing Alt+F pulls
down the File menu.

Additional Information:
NT4: Alt+E opens the Edit menu.

Target Milestone: M14
Alt+mnemonic hasn't worked on linux in a long time -- I thought Hyatt turned it
off, I think because of conflicts with the xbl handlers. Alt calls up XBL/XUL
shortcuts, but there's no menu navigation character because most Unix people
don't want one (there's never been a standard menu nav character on Unix, and we
didn't have any in 4.x).

The solution to this would be to make the menu access key, as well as the
xul/xbl key, user specifiable, which I think is on hyatt's list; then users or
skin writers who want a particular menu access key can define one.
Move to M15
No plans to fix this before ship. german agreed that the feature could simply
be killed on Linux.
