If you have the message list pane highlighted and you press F6 to change panes,
the message list pane stays highlighted (Blue outline). With one press The
message pane gets a black outline (why is it not the same color?). With two
presses of the F6 key, the folder list gets highlighted (Blue outline) but the
message list pane also still has the outline.
If you use of the mouse to click instead of the keyboard equivalents, the
highlighting works correctly.
This just seems to be a visual problem, the focus seems to be in the correct place.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
Expected Results:
Only one pane should be highlighted at a time

This problem is mentioned in bug 203386. There is a patch there which has a
hack that addresses this, but it sounds as if the patch will be rewritten.
The same thing happens with Shift-F6 from the folder pane. It's apparently
theme-dependent.

I think SM was fixed with bug 203386, and TB with bug 311239.
