User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/124 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/125.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla Thunderbird 0.6+ (20040419) Hi, I first noticed this with Thunderbird 0.5. I've used Thunderbird before, but that's a while ago. Seeing this, I went for the latest nightly build, but the problem is there as well. When I use my imap mail account and traverse my emails, I want to delete mails easily. Thus I press the "del" button two buttons under the F13 button on the Norwegian Mac keyboard. Nothing happens. Ctrl- clicking (rightclicking) and selecting delete or pressing delete on the shortcut bar works, but I'd like to press delete and according to the documentation, it should work. Speaking of, there is no way to define buttons that do specific actions? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start application 2. Open an imap folder (not tested with other folders) 3. Press del Actual Results: Nothing Expected Results: Deleted the message or marked it for deletion
Confirmed using Thunderbird-Mac/20040418. While the normal "Backspace" delete key (labelled simply "delete" on my PowerBook) deletes messages, the forward delete key (accessed using fn+delete on my PowerBook) does not. Also reproduced using Mozilla-Mac/2004041406, so reassigning to Mail/News/MWFE.
