User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040316 Netscape Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040419 I downloaded today's daily build to check if the bug I found in 2004031613 was fixed, before logging it (it was, thank you). As I use a script to start mozilla or to attach it to a running instance, I noted that when called with -remote, the browser simply starts, displaying the annoying 'select a profile' dialog that I want to avoid. I have searched bugzilla and the mozilla site, but found no indication that the option was dropped or unavailable in the nightly builds. It is quite handy as I use multiple desktops that atttrect lots of clutter and locating the mozilla window to click the toolbar is a bit of a hassle most of the time. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.start mozilla 2.start another copy of mozilla with option -remote "xfeDoCommand(openBrowser)" 3."select a profile" dialog appears 4. close all instances 5. start mozilla --help 6. remote is not in the output Actual Results: as described Expected Results: As the official 1.7b release (2004031613): attach to the running instance and display the browser window. The binary mozilla-xremote-client is also missing. In the installation wizard, I chose 'custom' and unselected Chatzilla. The installation created no problems, and the install.log contains no worrying messages.
