User-Agent: Mozilla/4.8 [en] (Windows NT 5.1; U) Build Identifier: Mozilla Thunderbird 0.5 (20040207) Full row selection is always on in the mailbox. So you can't select mail messages by "left-click-mouse + drag". Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Left-click-drag mouse in mail-messages window Actual Results: When left-click-drag mouse in mail-messages window on a message it always selects the message (full-row selection). When left-click mouse in mail-messages window in a part of the window that does not contain a message name you can't drag-select any of the mail messages. Expected Results: 1.Full row selection in the message window should be able to be turned OFF and ON. 2.Left-click-drag with the mouse should give the possibility to give an selection square for messages.
I'm not sure what you want. Is it the same thing as bug 152861? If yes, please mark this one as a duplicate.
(In reply to comment #1) > I'm not sure what you want. Is it the same thing as bug 152861? > If yes, please mark this one as a duplicate. It's not the same. Its in a different part of Thunderbird (mail-list/overview and not the composer). And does not concern replacing and searching but SELECTING messages from the list with a mouse created box like the one that is possible in e.g. the windows file explorer. Since full-row selection is the only selection option this is not possible.
