it takes 15 seconds at least over a broadband connection (4 Mbit/s)
in Opera 7.5 it takes 1.5 seconds

Expected Results:  
Speed itself up

i'm seeing the exact opposite of what you report: Mozilla took 6 seconds to load
the page, while Opera by now has used a minute and 39 seconds, and still hasn't
finished. Opera status bar reads "Waiting for DNS confirmation of cookie domain(s)"

My cookie setting in Opera is to allow "all without questions"
In Mozilla, prefs are set to accept cookies from "originating web site only".
