User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a) Gecko/20040420 MultiZilla/1.6.2.0c Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a) Gecko/20040420 MultiZilla/1.6.2.0c I often receive "alert" mails. Like the ones from bugzilla or other forums and sites. I think that we should have a filter like this one: When sender is "bugzilla-daemon@mozilla.org" check if there is something like "http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=" (nothing new into this) then get The Complete URL starting with "http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=" and open it. I think that improves the experience a lot. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
I don't really think automatically opening browser windows when a message containing links arrives would improve the user experience at all. Is that what you mean? If not, please clarify and update the summary to something more descriptive and/or accurate.
Summary: sugestion about new filters → new filter action - "auto-open links" from new message
Dup of bug 80439? Related: bug 59335, bug 59341
I'm saying that this is a filter. So it only opens the links configured by us. If the filter is correct this should work nice.
