User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040421
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040421

I have two accounts, one POP, one IMAP. The IMAP one is accessed via a SSH
tunnel so I do not want it to autmatically check for new mail. I unchecked
"Check for new messages every x minutes" in the server setting screens but I am
still receiving notfications for new messages. The POP account is set to receive
mail every 10 minutes

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Sit here and wait
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Mail came into my imap account, notification popped up, mail is available in folder.

Expected Results:
Mail should not have been detected until I clicked the "Get new messages" button.

Marking as minor since it's simple to close the SSH tunnel (for me).
again, turn off the junk mail controls, or turn off the automatic purging of
your junk folder, to get us not to contact the imap server to search for junk
messages older than xx days old...

So mozilla is automatically purging my junk folder without me explicitly
requesting it. Sounds not-quite-right to me.
