User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040421 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040421 When opening homepage at http://www.comcast.net/home.html I get a repeating error message (entry point not found). After clicking on the error message 5 or 6 times the page will open, but the message comes back when I click on certain links on the page. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open Mozilla which is set to my homepage at http://www.comcast.net/home.html 2.Error message (as described above)appears on blank page 3.After removing, page opens and error message reappears when attempting links on page Actual Results: Homepage will open, but it is annoyance to continually x out error messages, because if I don't x out error message page will not open. Expected Results: The page should open without error messages.
usually happens when mozilla is installed on top of a previous installation. Can also be caused by outdated third party addons. What exactly is the error message?
Richard Bates: What is the text of the error message? Does it for instance say: "The procedure entry point ??0NS_ConvertUTF16toUTF8@@QAE@PBG@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library xpcom.dll."
Summary: error message when opening homepage → error message when opening homepage (entry point not found)
