While surfing the net I get the following error message on many sites "The
procedure entry poiint ??0NS_ConvertUTF16toUTF8@@QAE@PBG@Z could not be located
in the dynamic link library xpcom.dll."

I have included a link to one of the sites that I was getting this error.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to http://www.electricnews.net/ffocus.html?code=9407565
2. Error message pops up

Actual Results:
Press Ok on error window and you can view the page.

Expected Results:
It should not have displayed the error message.

I am using the 1.7 RC1 build. I have also tried this with the latest nightly
build code and it also happens. This needs to be fixed in 1.7 before it is released.
usually caused by installing on top of an older build, or by third party addons.

If you installed as per the installation notes: Do you have a file called
npmozax.dll in your plugins dir? If yes: If you quit moz and move that file away:
Does the alert still trigger?

Yes removing npmozax.dll fixes the problem. I did not delete the install
directory and just installed over the top of the old version. I also searched
for an issue in bugzilla before posting this and didn't find one, sorry for the
duplicate post (Not sure why my search didn't turn up the duplicate).
A newer ActiveX plugin may exists (for Mozilla 1.7)
