in pegasus mail you could delete selected attachment, it would be replaced with
txt 'deleted attachment'. I used this feature a lot and I really miss it in
mozilla (i can do it with 'edit message as new' and then saving it again as
draft but it isn't so user friendly)

It could be added to menu where are possibilities for open, save and save all
