Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create a test POP3 mail account, the actual account on the server must exist 2.Check the account for new messages, and when prompted for a password, enter a wrong one, and do not allow password manager to save it 3.No error message is displayed, the error is silently ignored 4.If you try to check the account once again, instead of asking for password again, thunderbird probably sends the wrong password, which it sould not have rememberes, then displays an error message that the password was not accepted, and then displays the password dialog. If you enter a wrong password, the situation is repeated as in step 2 Expected Results: Report error This bug can be potentially dangerous, since it could misinform the user that he has no new mail
