When I try to use the latest version of the browser, I get page fault errors. I
went back to the 2000011408 version and I have no major problems. The previous
two days version 01-17-2000 and 01-18-2000, the installer version seems worse
than the zip but they both crash within one minute. The installer version, if
the browser loads, blows as soon as you click on edit preferences.

I am sorry if someone has already reported this problem.
there have been some issues with the win32 builds this week, along with general 
instability.  since the issues are spread across multiple bugs, I'm closing this 
as invalid rather than a duplicate.  but we are aware of the problem and are 
working on it.  thanks for taking the time to report the problem.
