User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8 I almost always browse to web sites on Windoze using <Windws Button><R> to bring up the "Run" dialogue box and then type in "www.whatever.com" and press enter. Just a shortcut I've used for years. Whilst this works on firefox in that the open Firefox window loads the required site, it doesn't bring the window to the foreground as IE does meaning you have to <ALT><TAB> to it. Now, I'm sure you're fed up hearing what "IE" does, but I find it really annoying. A simple fix hopefully ? PS. Love firefox though. 10/10 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click Start 2. Click Run 3. Type www.google.com and press enter Actual Results: Firefox window already open on PC loads site correctly but does not bring this window "to the top". Expected Results: Brought the Window to the top of the stack

I have carefully read 137363 and do not believe 242715 to be a duplicate. Please reread both bugs. Thanks

You're right. There are subtle differences between the two bugs. I guess I was too quick to resolve this one as a dup. However, the two bugs are most likely related.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040621 Firefox/0.9.0+ works for me. please reopen if you can reproduce with a recent build, and a clean profile. thanks.
