The realplayer plug-in info is as follows: File name: nprpjplug.dll 6.0.12.687 MIME Type application/vnd.rn-realplayer-javascript Description RealPlayer Version Plugin Suffixes rpj Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the URL mentioned. 2. Click on any of the six (high band-width) video links. Actual Results: The realplayer plug-in gets launched and immediately hangs. The rest of the browser becomes either unresponsive or very sluggish. If I try to exit Mozilla, the windows are killed but the mozilla process is still left running (as viewed in TaskManager). Expected Results: Display the video I get a similar response with the realplayer plug-in uninstalled (in which case, it's the Windows media player plug-in that hangs.) The bug was present in Mozilla 1.5 and 1.6 too. Firefox 0.8 is able to display the video. Since Mozilla does not crash, the Talkback Agent is not activated. I'll attach the relevant html snippet.

> Mozilla 1.5 and 1.6 too. Firefox 0.8 is able to display the video. Firefox 0.8 and Mozilla 1.6 have identical plugin code. Further, the movies work fine in a current Linux build. Is this a problem without Multizilla installed?
> Firefox 0.8 and Mozilla 1.6 have identical plugin code. Further, the movies > work fine in a current Linux build. > > Is this a problem without Multizilla installed? yes, it had occured to me, so I'd reproduced it without multizilla too, although that was with Mozilla 1.6 (not sure if I did the same with 1.7b); will try that again and report. sorry for the duplicate posting; Mozilla had stopped to respond after I'd clicked submit on that bug (I'd tried that movie in that session too), so I thought that it hadn't been filed the first time around. thanks for your time, Rajneesh.
This is WFM, Win2k 1.7rc1 and FireFox 20040426
I just made a clean install of Mozilla build id 2004042109 (without multizilla or any other extension); the browser still hangs.
This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter.
