Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8a) Gecko/20040506 Firefox/0.8.0+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8a) Gecko/20040506 Firefox/0.8.0+ Open a new window, load a web page in it, and while it's still loading, open a new tab. The tab for the first window will show a regular icon, not a spinning wheel "I'm still loading" icon, even though it still is loading. I have my preferences set to "don't show tabs if only 1 tab is open", and I think this is related, because I don't see this behavior if I have more than one tab already open and then open more, only with the first tab then opening the second. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a new window. 2. Enter an URL. 3. Open a second tab while the first URL is still loading. Actual Results: The icon on the first tab is a regular tab icon (favicon.ico or whatever). Expected Results: The icon on the first tab should be a spinning progress wheel thingy until that URL finishes loading.
This is a known problem. It's not really a supercritical bug, however, so it'll probably wait until after Firefox 1.0 unless someone makes a patch for it. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 209400 ***
