This way should work. This looks like your mbox file is corrupt. And there is also a bug for importing mbox files but it wouldn`t help wuth a broken mbox-file.
Summary: import - mails from mbox format is wrong. → import - mails from mbox format is wrong.
> This way should work. This looks like your mbox file is corrupt. The mbox is not corrupted. Pine(under linux) work, and read correctly the folders. Via sendmail(rename file, and copy to inbox) --> mozilla download the mails correctly. The mbox importing must be not for advanced users, only home users and one.radius.windows.users ;)
anmd why is this nopt a dupe of bug 63389 ?
> anmd why is this nopt a dupe of bug 63389 ? No, but similar. Here DATA is LOST! is this other problem. Import filter problem ? i don't know. I only suggest "need(&|must be) generic mbox import" possibility, to solve similar problems.
-> Database (but I still think that your mbox-File is broken)

Are some messages appended to each other? Can you produce a simple test case?
