try it opera-mozilla mbox formats
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.I have another*100Mb mail, around 700 mail in one folder.
2.I copy the mbox file, and after moz.
3.Mozilla generating msf, and i have about 2-300 mail!
4.All mail have in the file, but ~2-300 show.
...I try linux and win , moz 1.2&1.5&1.6
I think must be feature, generic mbox format importing!
if you try compress the folder, only the showend mails compressed, another mails
in a /dev/null !

This way should work. This looks like your mbox file is corrupt.
And there is also a bug for importing mbox files but it wouldn`t help wuth a
broken mbox-file.
Summary: import - mails from mbox format is wrong. → import - mails from mbox format is wrong.
> This way should work. This looks like your mbox file is corrupt.
The mbox is not corrupted. Pine(under linux) work, and read correctly the folders.
Via sendmail(rename file, and copy to inbox) --> mozilla download the mails
correctly.
The mbox importing must be not for advanced users, only home users and
one.radius.windows.users ;)

No, but similar. Here DATA is LOST! is this other problem.
Import filter problem ? i don't know.
I only suggest "need(&|must be) generic mbox import" possibility, to solve
similar problems.

Are some messages appended to each other? Can you produce a simple test case?
