User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040207 Firefox/0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040207 Firefox/0.8 Drag an event around the day view and the color changes. If you drop the event outside of the calendar (tasklist, desktop, etc...) the drag stops but the colors and lines are not returned. I am running FireFox 0.8 and 2004040815-cal. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create an event 2. Drag it up and down the day view. The page should change to 1 solid color (times at left may barely be visible). 3. Then "veer" off of the day view, into the task list maybe, just anywhere a drop is invalid. Release the event. 4. The day view stays 1 solid color even tho the drag was canceled. 5. Switch to week view and come back to day view. The day is still 1 solid color. 6. Drag the event in the day view again, the screen finally resets. Expected Results: Maybe a solid line where you are dropping the event. But since the actual event data is not yet used in the new event dialog that pops up, it isn't really clear to me what is expected.

IIRC there actually is no drag'n'drop for day view events (not yet anyway) - what you're seeing is the selection of hours lying 'under' the event. The selection is not perfect either, the semi-permanent coloring you describe is ugly. I'm resolving this as dupe of 216958. Another bug could be opened for the hour-selection problems. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 216958 ***
