Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a) Gecko/20040513 Firefox/0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a) Gecko/20040513 Firefox/0.8 I have download manager set to pop up whenever I start a download, and I unchecked the option for closing the download manager when all downloads are done, but when a download finishes quickly, the manager never pops up. Works properly otherwise. Not really sure if the amount of time the file takes to download is the cause, but it seems to only happen when a file takes a negligible amount of time. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Configure the browser as described above, so that the download manager opens when a download begins and does not close when all downloads are done. 2.Find a file that downloads in a fraction of a second. 3.Download that file. Actual Results: In some cases, the download manager fails to appear. Expected Results: The download manager should always appear when configured as described.
This behaviour is actually by design. If the download completes within a very short period of time, the download manager does not pop up. This behaviour is intentional.
