The text is still selected(ie. can copy from it), although the selection seems to disappear. Switching to another application causes Mozilla to redraw the selection, making it visible. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Select some text from the upper paragraph 2. Move mouse cursor to the bottom paragraph Actual Results: Selection disappeared. Expected Results: Selection should not disappear.
WFM 2003040208 What I don't understand is why the page jumps on hover, it is just a change of opacity. Another bug though...
The layout bug is known(see bug 129981) but this one is related to the selection display disappearing. It is not the same thing as bug 238587.
