Can you try with a newer build? I checked in a fix yesterday for a similar crasher.
I'll check the 2004-05-15 build when it's generated. You checked in a fix for bug 243203 on 2004-05-14 06:58. The funny thing is, as far as I can tell, this 5-14 build I'm using includes the fix for bug 243203, as I'm no longer able to crash in the Mail compose window by scrolling or deleting recipients, as before.
