It sounds from the dup'd report like this may be triggered by having a very
large bookmark file. Would either of you be willing to attach your
~/Library/Camino/boomkmarks.plist file for testing?
This bug may very well be a duplicate of Bug 236373. I also have to wait a
second or two before Camino is fully functional on startup. I don't think we
want the loading of bookmarks to be in our way on startup, we are on a multy
thread system so let's put the loading in it's own thread :)

Mark dup as needed when we have the bm file.
yes, reporter, please post your bookmarks file (or at least tell us how big it
is) so we can verify our guess.
Yes, I had a LOT of bookmarks. I imported bookmarks/favorites from each of the
browsers i'd been using recently (in my search for the perfect web browser).
the intention was to eliminate duplicates as time permitted.

I'll reinstall a clean copy of Camino, import only ONE bookmark file and let you
know the result.

Abbe Lougee

PS I'm using Mac OS 10.2.8

There's no need to re-install, just move ~/Library/Camino somewhere else (while
Camino is closed).

The problem remains though that having a lot of bookmarks *should* work, which
is why we need a bookmark file to test with.
Closing as it has the same symptons of Bug 236373.
