The chrome files for prefs on Mac are completely missing. So the prefs dialog
does not show.
Priority: P3 → P2

Sounds like an easy one to fix.
The same bug happened to me yesterday night when I pulled around 9pm and it was
fixed when I rebuilt my tree around 3am: the chrome files were missing and then
they came back.

Alecf inadvertently removed more lines than necessary last Friday from teh build
script. Fixing.

Fixed by putting back in some of alecf's removed lines in the build script.
verified as fixed w/2000-012401-m13 comm bits.
