Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8a) Gecko/20040517 Firefox/0.8.0+
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8a) Gecko/20040517 Firefox/0.8.0+

I run Firebird behind a proxy server at work. The HTTP proxy is at
127.0.0.1:8080 (on the local network, of course).

On first run of Firebird, it imports thes settings from IE. The problem is that
when it stores it in Tools-> Options-> General-> Connection, the IP address is
stored as 127.0.0.1:8080, and the port is set as 8080 (note that the port is
stored twice).

The consequence is that the proxy server is not found, and the browser can't
reach the internet.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

Actual Results:
On startup, the browser can't find the home page (http://www.yahoo.com).

Expected Results:
The proxy information stored correctly in the browser.

The reason this is major severity is that users behind the proxy with a
different port number (in this case port 8080) would expect the proxy server to
be automatically detected.

Also, someone troubleshooting the problem via phone may not see a problem, since
they will be told the correct IP address and the correct port number for the
proxy server.
