According to Preferences -> Downloads -> Plug-ins I have plug-in for three file
types (pdf, ps, tiff) but about:plugins list maybe 100 file types etc. This is
confusing and makes it difficult to understand why e.g., some flash or pdf stuff
works and some don't (issues I like to report in bugzilla).
I will upload my about:plugins page as the first comment.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
Expected Results:
I should see the same plugins/supported file types in both interfaces and should
be able to change their settings (enable/disablem add and remove MIME-types etc)
from within Downloads -> Plugins

In the Plug-ins box I have only wmv, svg, and tiff listed. Just like the
reporter I have many more plugin types; plugins for flash, movies, real player,
and just about everything else.

With FF 1.5 I think this bug may no longer be valid. Now the Preferences/Downloads screen has "Actions" listed and does not say anything about plugins. The 1.5 usage is at least much more clear than it was previously.

Current trunk has apparently fixed this issue. Marking as resolved.
