User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8 It's very annoying especially on ign.com where they offer many .MOV files to download. there is a link to a page where the .MOV is in the page embedded. on the same page is also a link to the .mov file (for right click to download). the problem is, this link doesnt work until the whole MOV movie has finished to load. its very annoying since many movies are about 30MB so I always have to wait for 10 minutes or so before I can download the file to my HD. it also happens with any other website. all the links seem to be blocked while the website is still being loaded. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to: http://media.cube.ign.com/media/499/499105/vids_1.html 2. Click on the link to the first movie on the page (the windows media file) 3. in the popped up window click on the link "left click to download" in the bottom of that page. Actual Results: you will see that the link will only work after the page has finished to load. Expected Results: the link should work before the whole page has finished to load. the user has to wait until the whole movie has finished to load. it also happens with any other larger website.

This is happening because of the popup blocker. You can disable the pop blocker for that page by clicking on the popup blocker icon (this is on the left site of your statusbar), click on "Unblock site". After disabling, try it again and see if you still have the problem.
