Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040514 Build Identifier: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mozilla/releases/mozilla1.8a1/mozilla-i686-pc-linux-gnu-1.8a1.tar.gz Somewhere in the transition from 1.8a to 1.8a2 something got broken for me on my slackware 9.1 system . I've been pulling from cvs for months and compiling on my own, and all has been well. I'm typing this from a 1.7rc2 install and all is cool here too. But I checked out the latest cvs this weekend, and now that we've gone from 1.8a to 1.8a2 moz is flakey. I've downloaded your build of 1.8a1 and it fails as well. The profile manager pops up, but the browser, if it does pop up, won't load the start page. It just spins as if it's loading but never finishes. Mail works fine, interestingly. no errors are thrown during execution or on exit. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. start x. 2. start mozilla 3. wait infinitely for home page to load. 4. Attempt to exit. Actual Results: Some times I can exit cleanly.. at other times there is no response. I wish I could be more helpful here... Expected Results: Behaved normally :) Nothing between my compiles of 1.8a and 1.8a2 were changed. I'm running kernel 2.6.6 if that matters.
