User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8 Build Identifier: Thunderbird version 0.6 (20040502) I have a buggy mouse and sometimes a long left-click results in multiple short left-clicks. I wanted to move a mail from 'Inbox' to folder 'A' in 'Local Folders'. While drag-and-dropping it, the "mouse bug" occured so it moved the mail to folder 'B' AND moved folder 'B' into folder 'A' (very quickly). The mail was quite big (with attached pictures) and has been truncated (the 2nd picture is not complete and next pictures are not there any more). Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Expected Results: Thunderbird should have moved the mail entirely into folder 'B' and THEN move folder 'B' to folder 'A'.
Summary: Moving a mail and a its folder too quickly truncates the mail (data loss). → Moving a mail and its folder too quickly truncates the mail (data loss).
Reporter : did you try with a 0.7 version of thunderbird ? If so, did you still see this bug ? Thanks.
This behavior occured when trying to forward a message (not exactly the same thing as moving a folder). Two attempts produced exactly the same result. The point of failure is the space (well, it LOOKS like a space and is code point 0x20) between the n and t in don't ("don t"). The attached file's text (I removed the sender's address and name) comes through as: -------- Original Message -------- Subject: RE: Marine For Life Mentor Program Date: Thu, 16 Mar 2006 07:28:18 -0500 From: xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx <xxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxx.com> To: 'webmartians' <WeBMartians@Verizon.net> Bruce, I'm glad to hear that you have a great rate and that you are close to being done with your mortgage, I don

Tristan, Bruce, or somebody else: Does this bug still exist on TB 2.0.0.*, trunk TB, or related versions of Seamonkey? If not, I will resolve INCO in 3 weeks... I also feel that Bruce's last comment is a separate bug in itself...
