the version string is thankfully selectable:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a2) Gecko/20040525 Firefox/0.8.0+

However, the text box is a bit too small, or there are a trailing carriage return.

This has been happening on all firefoxes that I've seen, inlucing the last
couple releases, and the nighly builds for all that time.


When I select the text, I can move the little window within a window up and down.

The version string in Help->About is in a too-small textbox.  Select the text,
drag the mouse up and down, and you'll see the version string move because part
of it is slightly hidden by the textbox's small size.  On my Fedora Core 2
install, I also see little scrollbars, making it even more obvious that the
textbox is too small.  It's certain a reproducible bug, but I'm not sure it's
not a dupe.

The text cut-off is Bug 238137 (a scrollbar appearing is Bug 234920, though you
could argue it's pretty much the same bug).
